AWARENESS RALLY ON DIABETES DAY 2022
On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2022, a rally was organized in association with KLES Centenary Charitable Hospital & MRC on 14th November 2022 at 9 am from Nath Pai Circle to KLES Centenary Charitable Hospital & MRC. Around 100 students participated and made the public aware by depicting placards with slogans on the prevention of Diabetes Mellitus. The rally was flagged off by Dr. H.B. Rajshekar, Director USM KLE, Dr. D C Dharwad, Director, KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital, Dr. M.A. Udchanka, Principal KAHER Homeopathic Medical College, Dr. Vikrant Nesari, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur, Dr. M.S. FOUNDER’S DAY TRIBUTE - 2022
On the occasion of the 107th Founder’s Day, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur Road, Belagavi had offered a tribute to the Founders and the Seven Saptarishis (Teachers) of KLE Society on 13th November 2022. On the occasion of World Osteoporosis and Arthritis Day, Rotary Club of Belgavi North, in association with KLE Society Centenary Insititue of Nursing Sciences, Yallur, Belagavi had organized an awareness rally on 31st October 2022. Dr. D C Dharwad, Director, KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital, Dr. H.B Rajshekar, Director USM KLE, Dr. Vikrant Nesari, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur, Mr. A S Patil, President of Rotary Club Belagavi North, faculty of the nursing institution and hospital staff participated in the rally. The rally was flagged off at the KLE Society Head Office to the Rotary club hall situated at Camp, Belagavi. Around 50 students of KLES CINS, Yallur Road, Belagavi created awareness amongst the public by depicting placards with different slogans.
AWARENESS PROGRAM ON MENTAL HYGIENE 2022
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2022, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur, Belagavi. A guest lecture was scheduled on Mental Hygiene on the basis of the theme “Make mental health and well-being for all a global priority” on 15th October 2022 at 10 am among the Government of Chintamanrao PU college. About 60 students benefited from this lecture and it was delivered by Ms. Prajakta Goral (Senior Tutor) Department of Mental Health Nursing.
E-Rakthkosh Mega Blood Donation Camp 2022
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road, Belagavi in association with KLES Centenary charitable hospital Belagavi organized E-Rakthkosh Mega Blood Donation Camp. During the camp 14 students donated the blood. On this, occasion Dr. S.C. Dharwad Director Clinical Services KLES Centenary charitable hospital Belagavi, explained about the importance of blood donation among the youngsters in the field of health care. Dr. Udchankar Principal, KLES Homeopathic medical college Belagavi addressed the donors regarding the importance of Donate Blood and Save life, Dr. Vikrant Nesari Principal, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Belagavi motivated all the participants on the occasion. WORLD HEART Day 2022
On the Occasion of World Heart Day 2022,KLE'S Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur road Belagavi in association with K L E S Centenary charitable hospital Belagavi had Organized a awareness rally on World Heart day on 29th September 2022 at 9:00am from Shivaji garden Shahapur to KLE'S Centenary Charitable Hospital, and MRC. Around 120 Nursing students were participated, exhibited placards with different slogans, and handouts regarding prevention of heart diseases were distributed among the public. Dr.S.C. Dharwad, Director of KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital,Dr.Vikrant Nesari, Principal of KLE'S Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences yallur road Belagavi. Faculty of Nursing Institution and hospital staffs were participated during the event.The rally was succesfully completed and it was fallowed with guest lecture on 'Diet and Heart' by Dr.Shrinivas ,HOD of Medicine department. Additionally, media personnel covered the program, and the whole event was sponsored by the Mankind Pharmaceuticals.

National Nutritional Week 2022
On the Occasion of National Nutritional Week KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road, Belagavi had organized awareness Programm on Protein Energy Malnutrition and its Prevention among mothers of underfive childrens at Ambewadi and Gojga Village on 09/09/2022, students demonstrated the preparation of Hyderabi Mix, Jaggery preperation of Moong daal kheer. Around 75 mothers of under-five children’s were benefitted by the programm. Students accompanied by Mr. Tejas Patil (Senior Tutor) and Ms. Harshita (Tutor) of the institution.

KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur Road Belagavi had organized a free Health Check-up Camp on 30th May 2022 at Karle Village During 3rd Year Students Community Postings. Around 260 people of all age group were benefitted by the camp.

As a part of Community Health Nursing Visits to Karle Village Kiney, the students of 3rd Year GNM students has organized the Health Awareness Programm on Hypertension and Diabetes Malletes, around 60 group of geriatric people benefitted from the programm on the same hand the students also given health talk on Menstrual Health and Hygiene for adolescent girls of Jyothi Marathi Medium High School of same village around 80 students were benefitted from the programm.

As part of GNM Ist Year curriculum 60 students from GNM Ist year have visited Karnataka State pollution control board located at Auto-Nagar Belagavi. Dr. Goudappa scientific officer from the pollution control board briefed relevant issues of pollution and measures to control it.

VISIT TO WATER PURIFICATION PLANT AT LAXMITEK BELAGAVI 2021
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur Road, Belagavi. As a part of curriculum GNM 1st Year students, had a visit to water purification plant at Laxmitek, Belagavi, on 17/08/2021. The visit was carried out under the guidance of Mr. Vishal (Asst. Engineer) Laxmitek, Belagavi, information was given to students regarding “Water Purification Process” on large scale basis. Total 59 students were present, coordinated by Mr. Kiran Katageri, Ms. Jyoti Walikar and Ms. Ashwini Jadhav.
ANNUAL SPORTS REPORT 2020-21
The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on 19th &20th February 2021, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme was commence by Principal Mr. Vikrant Nesari welcoming students and emphasised on the importance of sports in a student’s life. Physical Education is an integral part of the total education system. It helps in the attainment of the ultimate aim of education i.e. the achievement of holistic development. Games and Sports play is a vital role in the student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in examinations. But, they should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigour of life. Along with bookish learning, a student should spend his time on games and sports. Sports remove our mental exhaustion. Education without sports is incomplete. It is one of the largest co-curricular, Activities that offer an extensive opportunity to all the students. This venture shall enable the students to have fun, learn new sports, enhance social interaction and tests one’s physical capability. These competition also offer a break from the daily routine tasks and recreate or re-energetic them.
The following events have been organized for the inter-class sports for students:
• Carrom, Chess, Athletics game’s, Discuss throw, Javelin, throw ball for girls. Student’s work very hard for converting their sweat in winning trophies.

Health Awareness Program on “Menstrual Hygiene for Adolescent Girls”
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road, Belagavi, had organized Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program for adolescent girls of High School at Yallur, Sulaga, and Kinaye villages. Around 280 students have actively participated in the program. School Teachers were present during the occasion.

KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur Road, Belagavi had organized a Health Awareness Program on prevention of Breast Cancer and Breast Self Examination for women’s of Kondaskoppa, Kudachi, and Basrikatti kinaye Villages. Around 165 women have actively participated in the program.
