Dandiya competition Nav Rangilo Navratri
On the occasion of Navratri, Vinay Hubballi College of Nursing had organized On the occasion of Navratri, Vinay Hubballi College of Nursing had organized Dandiya competition Nav Rangilo Navratri for students from various Nursing colleges of Belagavi on 09 October 2024. The students of Il semester B.Sc. Nursing represented KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road Belagavi. They secured "First Place" in the Dandiya competition-Nav Rangilo Navratri. The Principal and the faculty congratulated. Navratri for students from various Nursing colleges of Belagavi on 09 October 2024. The students of Il semester B.Sc. Nursing represented KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road Belagavi. They secured "First Place" in the Dandiya competition-Nav Rangilo Navratri. The Principal and the faculty congratulated.
World Heart Day
KLE'S Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road, Belagavi had organized a 4 km rally on the occasion of "World Heart Day" on 30th September 2024, from Goaves circle till KLE'S Centenary Charitable Hospital Yallur Road. The theme of this year is. "Use Heart for Action, the rally was flagged of by Dr. Suhas Shetty, Principal, KAHER Shri B, M Kankanwadi, Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. Belagavi. And Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, KLE'S CINS Yallur Road, Belagavi. Dr. Suhas Shetty Sir emphasized the students about Implementing the Healthy Habits and practicing yoga every day. Around 250 students participated in the rally displayed placards and slogans, 2000 pamplets were distributed in Kannada and Marathi language regarding prevention of Heart disease, to create awareness among the public. The faculty of the collage was present.
Teachers Day Celebration
On the occasion of Teachers day, the students of KLES centenary institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur road, Belagavi had teachers Day celebration on 5 September 2024, Students welcomed the teachers by offering flowers and greeting cards. Mr. Tejesh Patil, Assistant Professor emphasized regarding the influence of students on teachers to bring the best out of them various games were organized, all the teachers participated actively and prizes were distributed to winners.Miss Sadhika Bepari GNM 3rd year student delivered speech on role of teachers and Miss Gayatri 2nd semester delivered the speech on importance of Teachers day. At the end as a token of appreciation the students distributed gifts to the teachers.
National Nutrition Week
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road Belagavi, observed National Nutrition Week on 4th to 6th September 2024 by conducting the Nutrition Awareness Exhibition Programme for the public on the theme "Nutritious Diets for Everyone", which was organized by the 2nd Semester B.Sc. and 1st Year GNM students and educated the patients attending IPD and OPD at KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital, Belagavi regarding various types of therapeutic diet such as cardiac, diabetic, renal, antenatal, postnatal and balanced diet, weaning diet etc. Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Science Yallur Road, Belagavi welcomed the guests. The Chief Guest was Dr.S.C. Dharwad sir, Director Clinical services, KLES CCH, Belagavi, delivered the speech focusing on the nutrition anemia and the concept regarding the milk bank. The Guest of Honor was Dr.M.A. Udachankar sir, Principal KAHER HMC, Belagavi emphasized regarding the various common nutrition disorders and the correct eating habits.
77th birthday of our Hon'ble Chairman, Dr. Prabhakar Kore
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur road, Belagavi had organized Blood Donation camp on the occasion of 77th birthday of our Hon'ble Chairman, Dr. Prabhakar Kore, on 01 August 2024, During the camp students donated the blood, on this occasion, Dr. SC. Dharwad, Medical Director. Clinical services, KLES CCH & MRC. Dr. M.A. Udchankar, Principal KLES HMC, Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, KLES CINS, Yallur Road, Belagavi and all the faculties of the college were present during Blood Donation Camp
Annual Day
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, organized the Annual Day on 14th June 2024. Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur road, Belagavi, welcomed the guests and presented the annual report for the year 2023-24. The Chief Guest was Dr. MS Ganachari. he emphasized the effectiveness of communication in the Nursing profession. The guest of Honor was Dr. Sanjay Peerapur sir, Principal, KLES Institute of Nursing Sciences, Vidya Nagar, Hubballi, He emerged students about the importance of teamwork in Nursing profession. Dr. H B Rajashekhar sir, Director USM-KLE international Medical program, Belagavi. Enlighted the students about the various opportunities in the fields of Nursing. Certificates, medals and trophies were distributed among the students who have excelled in the academic and sports. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Prafullata S. Assistant professor and was followed by cultural events which were performed by the students.
Educational Excursion Trip
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur road Belagavi, As a part of educational excursion trip was organized from 19/06/24 to 21/06/24 for 1 year GNM and B.Sc. Nursing students at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing Mysore (AIISH). Ms. Deepika Bhatt Audiologist and Speech- Language Pathologist, conducted seminar on communication disorders, also oriented the students regarding the major objectives of institute to educate the public on issues related to communication disorders, and also briefly demonstrated the procedures conducted in consultation room, endoscopy room, vertigo clinic, and audiometry room. The students had been for sightseeing to the historical places. Overall, the visit was resourceful and, around 84 Students were accompanied by teachers Mr. Tejas Patil Senior tutor, Ms. Prajakta Goral Senior tutor, Ms. Rubina Lobo Tutor, Ms. Aishwarya D tutor.
DBS Mental Retardation residential special school
As a part of curriculum 2nd year GNM 60 students had visited DBS Mental Retardation residential special school Hidkal on 24th June 2024. Mr. Bahubali Sankannavar, Principal DBS MR residential special school, oriented about the school and activities. He also emphasized on teaching about fine motor, gross motor skills and pre vocational training to the specially abled children. Total 70 specially abled children were admitted in the school with mild, moderate and severe mental retardation. 2nd year GNM students had shown demonstration on handwashing steps to specially abled children and these children also showed return demonstration. At the end students distributed the biscuits and fruits to specially abled children and gained good insight about mentally challenged children. Ms. Prajkta Goral and Ms. Rajashri Mirje, Senior tutors were accompanied the students.
World Schizophrenia Day
On the occasion of World Schizophrenia Day, a guest lecture was organized on 25/05/2024 by KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, Yallur road. Belagavi. The chief guest of the function was Dr. Anthony Karwalo, HOD, Department of Psychiatry, enlighten the students on the theme, "Celebrating the power of community kindness" and Expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Sanjeevini Rathod who have addressed regarding Schizophrenia and its prevention at community level. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, and vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Prajakta Goral All the faculty members and around 80 students attended the session.
World Environment Day
On the occasion of "World Environment Day", plantation was done in Government Higher Primary School Mastmardi and Sri SCT High School Desur. The students of 2nd Semester B.Sc. Nursing also conducted awareness program to the school children on the importance of "Our Land Our Future". Around 25 plants were planted in the school campus. Dr. Vikrant Nesari Principal KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, faculty and students were participated in the program.
Report On Visit to Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF)
As a part of curriculum, 1st year GNM (60) students visited Karnataka Milk Federation Belagavi On 28/05/2024. Mr. Mujahid T, Assistant Manager of Karnataka Milk Federation Belagavi Oriented milk dairy to the students and explained about pasteurization, storage and packing of milk and its products. Ms. Nutan Domble & Ms. Rubina Lobo Nursing tutors accompanied the students.
World No Tobacco Day
On the occasion of "World No Tobacco Day" An awareness Programme was organized in Belagavi Railway station on 31/05/2024. The 2nd Semester B.Sc. Nursing Students performed "Role Play" to bring awareness among the general public regarding the hazardous effects of tobacco on health. They also displayed respective placards in Kannada, Hindi and English. A good number of people benefited. Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, Mr. Tejesh Patil Senior Tutor, Mr. Kiran Y & Ms. Aishwarya D, Nursing Tutors were present during the programme.
International Midwifery Day
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road Belagavi observed International Midwifery Day on 9th May 2024. This year the theme was "Midwifes: A. Vital Climate Solution" Dr Vikrant Nesari Principal KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences, welcomed and felicitated the chief guest, Mr. Kencharaj Kammar who is the First Male Nurse Midwive and is trained as Nurse Practitioner Midwifery Educator in India. He also emphasized scope and new advancements in the field of midwifery. Mrs. Rukmini kakatikar Senior Tutor proposed vote of thanks. The staff and students were present during the event.
lamp lighting and Oath Taking ceremony
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Science, Yallur Road, Belagavi, had organized the lamp lighting and Oath Taking ceremony of the 6th Batch of GNM (Diploma Nursing) and 2nd Batch of B.Sc. Nursing on 14/03/2024. On the occasion, the welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Vikrant Nesari, Principal, KLE CINS. The chief guest of the function was Dr. Nitin M. Gangane, Vice Chancellor, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belagavi. The Guest of Honour was Dr. Mahesh Koni, District Health & Family Welfare Officer, Belagavi. The Oath was recited by Mrs. Rukmini Kakatikar (Senior Tutor) for the budding nurses. The presidential remark was given by Dr. S.C Dharwad, Director Clinical Services, KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital & MRC, Yallur road, Belagavi. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Rajashri Mirje (Senior Tutor). All teaching and non-teaching staff, media were present.
Annual Sports Meet
KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road Belagavi had organized Annual Sports Meet on 5, 6 & 7 March 2024, at District Stadium Ground Belagavi. Dr. Namdev Malagi, Principal Government College of Nursing, BIMS, Belagavi was the chief guest for the event. The programme was commenced by Dr. Vikrant Nesari Principal KLES Centenary Institute of Nursing Sciences Yallur Road, Belagavi by welcoming the dignitaries and students. Chief guest motivated students about the importance of games in maintaining good health. The inaugural ceremony started with lighting the ceremonial sports lamp and hosting flag by the dignitaries. All the students actively participated in both indoor and outdoor games. Medals and certificates were distributed for winners, thus sports event brought great joy among students and staff.
